Key Skills & Tools
AWS Services: Deep knowledge of EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudWatch.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation.
Scripting: Python, Bash, or similar.
DevOps: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS).
Monitoring: CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus.
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer, FinOps.
Responsibilities
Resource Optimization: Right-size instances (EC2), optimize storage (S3, EBS), modernize containers (EKS/ECS), and clean up unused resources (snapshots, load balancers).
Automation: Build scripts (Python/Bash) and workflows for automated cleanup, anomaly detection, and cost alerts.
Collaboration: Partner with developers to implement technical changes, ensuring feasibility and performance.
