Job Summary We are seeking an experienced L2 AWS Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Support Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, DevOps operations, and business-as-usual (BAU) activities. The role focuses on maintaining reliable cloud operations, resolving L2 technical incidents, supporting deployments, and ensuring platform availability. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on capability in AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps, experience handling BAU operations, and knowledge of monitoring, logging, backup, and recovery processes. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide L2 operational support for AWS cloud infrastructure, investigating and resolving technical incidents within agreed SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, connectivity, access, deployment, availability, and performance issues.
  • Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, availability, and operational status.
  • Support DevOps activities and troubleshoot build and deployment-related issues.
  • Support reliable application releases and rollback activities across development, test, and production environments.
  • Automate routine operational activities where appropriate as part of DevOps support.
  • Perform BAU operations, including daily health checks, incident triage, service requests, routine maintenance, and approved infrastructure updates.
  • Monitor operational environments and support monitoring, logging, backup, and recovery processes.
  • Perform restoration checks in accordance with established operational procedures.
  • Escalate complex incidents with clear diagnostic evidence and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Maintain operational runbooks, knowledge articles, configuration records, and support handover documentation.
  • Coordinate with application, infrastructure, security, and development teams to resolve operational issues.
  • Participate in on-call or out-of-hours support as required.

Knowledge

  • Monitoring, logging, backup, and recovery processes
Experience
  • Minimum4 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or production support, including hands-on AWS and L2 operational support.
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, communication, and stakeholder coordination capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in an operational environment governed by SLAs and established support procedures.
