Job Summary

Seeking an experiencedAWS Data Migration Engineer with strong expertise inNode.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS cloud services to support enterprise data migration and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute scalable data migration solutions while ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

Design and execute data migration strategies to AWS.
Develop migration tools, APIs, and automation usingNode.js.
Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
Manage and optimizePostgreSQL databases, queries, and performance.
Utilize AWS services includingDMS, RDS PostgreSQL, S3, Lambda, Glue, and CloudWatch.
Troubleshoot migration issues and support production cutovers.
Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in data migration and database solutions.
Strong hands-on experience withAWS,Node.js, andPostgreSQL.
Experience withAWS Database Migration Service (DMS).
Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
Experience with REST APIs, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certification(s).
Experience migrating Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL databases to PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS Glue.
