- Job Title: AWS Data Engineer / Cloud Data Engineer
- Experience Required: 3 to 5+ years of data engineering and cloud experience
- Core Tech Stack: AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Athena, EMR, Kinesis), Python/Scala/Java, SQL, and Apache Spark
Key Responsibilities
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and optimize batch and real-time ETL/ELT data pipelines usingAWS Glue,Apache Spark, andPython.
- Data Warehousing & Lakes: Manage and structure data lakes inAmazon S3 and data warehouses inAmazon Redshift,Snowflake, orRDS.
- Serverless & Event-Driven Architecture: Build scalable data processing workflows usingAWS Lambda,Amazon Kinesis, andSQS/SNS.
- Orchestration & Automation: Automate data workflows and scheduling usingApache Airflow or managed orchestration tools.
- Data Governance & Quality: Ensure data security, compliance, access control (IAM,KMS), and data integrity across pipelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to serve clean, reliable data for analytics and machine learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Programming Languages: Proficient inPython,Java, orScala, plus advancedSQL.
- AWS Services: Hands-on experience withS3,Glue,Redshift,Lambda,Athena, andEMR.
- Big Data Frameworks: Experience withApache Spark,Kafka,Hadoop, andHive.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Familiarity withGit,Jenkins,Docker,Terraform (Infrastructure as Code), and automated testing.
- Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field;AWS Certified Data Engineer orAWS Solutions Architect certification is a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with real-time streaming data viaKinesis orKafka.
- Data visualization familiarity usingTableau,Power BI, orAmazon QuickSight.
