We are looking for a motivatedGraduatetoprovide commercial support to both the delivery management and on-site teamsour major potable water transfer project. This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively in a high-demand sector, developing this project that will protect the environment and support communities across the region.Â
Â
Key Responsibilities:Â
Assist the team to ensure robust estimates are provided that align to scope and make allowance for risks and opportunities including any necessary analysis, transfer of data tothe procurement system and Cost Base  Â
Work closely with theLeadQuantity Surveyor, Procurement team, Construction Manager and Project Manager to develop andmonitor procurement strategy.  Â
Work closely with the site team, attending site regularly to ensure they are aware of and can manage the allowances and outputs, provide robust challenge to achieve outperformance, communicate changecontrol and escalate when necessary.  Â
Assist the Quantity Surveyor to produceaccurate live forecasting,taking into account the programme and reportingin accordance with the respective work breakdown structure/ cost breakdown structure.  Â
Ensure actual costs aremonitored and assessed against baseline, value of work done, solution cost progress, affordabilitychallenges and final outturn calculations.  Â
Ensure that proper records are kept &maintained so financial information for audits and cost assurance is readily available. Â

A 2:2 degree or above in a relatedsubject; engineering, management, cost disciplineÂ
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skillsÂ
A proactive, detail-driven approach and a willingness to learnÂ
Full UK driving licence (or working towards it)Â
