Job Requirements:
AvePoint Platform Expertise:
• Strong hands-on experience with AvePoint Cloud Governance, including
• Service configuration (provisioning, lifecycle, compliance services) o MyHub / Service Catalog design and deployment
• Agent/service configuration for automation workflows.
In-depth understanding of AvePoint modules:
• Cloud Governance o Policies & Insights o Automation / Service Delivery.
Microsoft 365 Technical Stack:
• Strong working knowledge of: SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online
• Power Automate / Microsoft Flow ·
• Experience with: M365 Groups and Teams provisioning architecture. o SharePoint site collections and permissions model. o Exchange Online mailbox and group governance.
Governance & Lifecycle Management
Proven experience designing and implementing:
• Workspace provisioning frameworks using AvePoint (Teams, SharePoint, M365 Groups) o Naming conventions, classification, metadata tagging o Approval workflows (multi-stage governance models) · Hands-on experience managing o Workspace lifecycle policies (creation, renewal, expiration, archival, deletion) · Implementation of governance controls such as o Ownership enforcement o Policy-based provisioning o Compliance-driven automation.
Security, Access & Compliance
• Strong understanding of: RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and least privilege models o Identity governance and access lifecycle management · Experience configuring o External sharing controls (SharePoint/OneDrive/Teams) o Guest access governance and review processes o Compliance policies aligned to enterprise or regulatory standards.
• Integration & Automation · Experience integrating AvePoint with enterprise systems such as: ServiceNow (ITSM platforms) for request-driven provisioning ·
• Ability to design: Automated service catalogue workflows o API-based integrations between M365 and third-party systems · Proficiency in: o PowerShell scripting for M365/AvePoint operations. Automation of administrative and governance tasks.
Monitoring & Reporting
• Hands-on experience configuring: o AvePoint monitoring solutions across M365 workloads (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange) · Experience in: o Monitoring platform health and governance compliance o Generating reports on workspace usage, access, and storage trends o Identifying anomalies and compliance risks Enterprise & Operational Expertise · Experience working in enterprise-scale M365 environments · Exposure to regulated industries (e.g., energy, utilities, or compliance-heavy sectors) · Strong troubleshooting capability across: o Provisioning failures o Governance policy conflicts o Integration issues (AvePoint ↔ M365 ↔ ITSM).
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain the AvePoint Cloud Governance platform integrated with Microsoft 365. · Design, build, and enhance governance services and provisioning workflows using AvePoint and ServiceNow integration. · Implement and manage workspace lifecycle and compliance policies across M365 · Integrate AvePoint with ServiceNow and automation platforms for service delivery. · Manage and support data protection strategies across M365 environment. · Monitor platform health, compliance posture, and usage analytics. · Troubleshoot and resolve governance, provisioning, and integration issues primarily with AvePoint.
• Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Infrastructure teams to enforce standards Continuously optimize governance models and improve automation efficiency.
