Everest Lifted Trucks Technician
Lighthouse is looking for an individual with a great attitude, good work ethic, high integrity, experience in the auto service field, and a passion for upfitting vehicles. You’ll be a key part of delivering a high quality and excellent finished product to our customers.
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule: 8-5, Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Summary:
As a Lighthouse Everest technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal worker functions well as part of a larger team, but can also be self-directed and skilled at solo projects. You will be responsible for installation of lift kits, wheels, tires, accessories, and for B Tech level service work on vehicles - ensuring quality workmanship.

Essential duties include:
• Installing lift kits, lowering kits, wheels, tires, power running boards, exhaust, and other accessories.
• Assisting the internal service department with repair orders – B Tech level repair work – performing work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing repair.
• Communicating effectively with teammates, parts department, service advisor, and supervisor.
• Inspecting and refilling fluid levels as necessary.
• Cleaning and lubricating fittings as needed.
• Ensuring that the service center is clean and presentable.
• Greeting any guests encountered, in a professional, pleasant manner.
• Documenting all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road testing vehicles when required or referring to the test technician.
• Participating in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools and events.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of customer’s cars and shop area.
• Understanding, keeping abreast of, and complying with: manufacturer technical bulletins, federal, state, and local regulations--such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
• Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of automotive technician experience required. - Experience with Vehicle customization or performance preferred.
• Must be a High School Graduate or have a completed GED
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Successful completion of a background check is required prior to hire.
