- We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Java, Selenium, and TestNG.
- This role involves building and maintaining test automation frameworks and ensuring high-quality software delivery.
- Prior experience of working in the financial services industry is must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build robust, scalable, and high-quality automation solutions for functional and regression testing.
- Develop automation code and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Customize and manage test automation frameworks.
- Document and report test results.
- Work independently in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
- Follow automation best practices and design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model).
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of QA testing experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on automation experience.
- Proficiency with Java, Selenium, TestNG.
- Strong experience with Xpath axes and CSS selectors.
- Familiarity with automation standards and best practices.
- Deep understanding of automation design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model).
- Knowledge of software development methodologies.
- Experience using Bitbucket for code merge/push processes.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
- Experience in Agile environments, with understanding of QA's role in Scrum.
Nice to Have:
- Experience testing APIs using Postman or RestAssured.
- Exposure to multithreaded test execution.
- Ability to write QA documentation (test plans, strategies, reports).
