Automation / SRE Engineer

Key Responsibilities-

• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts to streamline operational processes and reduce manual efforts.

• Monitor system performance, availability, reliability, and infrastructure health.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, performance bottlenecks, and system failures.

• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.

• Support incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.

• Work with development and operations teams to improve system stability and operational efficiency.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software releases.

• Define and monitor Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Support capacity planning, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity initiatives.

• Follow DevOps and SRE best practices to improve system resilience and reduce operational risks.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, or a related role.

• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, Shell, or similar languages.

• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and system administration.

• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

• Knowledge of infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.

• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.

• Understanding of networking, system performance, high availability, and disaster recovery concepts.

• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
