About the Opportunity
We are looking for an Automation Controls Engineer to support the design, programming, troubleshooting, commissioning, and optimization of automated manufacturing equipment.
You will work hands-on withPLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, robotics, and Smart Factory/MES systems, helping improve equipment reliability, production efficiency, and overall system performance.

Key Responsibilities
Program, modify, troubleshoot, and maintainPLC-based control systems
Troubleshoot automation equipment, electrical controls, sensors, actuators, and HMIs
Support installation, commissioning, and startup of automated production equipment
Improve equipment reliability, cycle time, and OEE
Support MES, Smart Factory, and real-time production monitoring systems
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings
Collaborate with Production, Mechanical Engineering, Quality, and external automation suppliers
Support safe and reliable operation of automated production equipment
What We're Looking For
Required:
Hands-on experience withPLC systems and control logic
Ability to troubleshoot and modify PLC programs
Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Understanding of sensors, actuators, HMIs, and industrial automation
Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment
Current authorization to work in the United States
Preferred:
3+ years of PLC programming or automation engineering experience
Experience withLS ELECTRIC PLCs
Experience with industrial robotics and automated production lines
MES / Smart Factory experience
Equipment commissioning and startup experience
CAD experience
International Training Requirement
This position requires approximately 7 months of technical training in South Korea. This requirement is mandatory and non-negotiable.
Candidates must be willing and able to complete the full training program.
Following training, the position will be fully onsite in Enoch, Utah, five days per week.
Relocation
Candidates from outside the local area may be considered. Candidates should be prepared to relocate to the Enoch, Utah area for this fully onsite position.
