Automation Architect : AI-Native QA

Summary:

Evolutyz is seeking an experienced professional for the role in Visakhapatnam. This role involves leading the automation and AI testing strategy, designing and implementing frameworks, and integrating solutions into CI/CD processes. The candidate will act as a technical leader and client-facing representative.

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end automation and AI testing strategy, including framework selection, architecture, coding standards, and quality gates.
• Design and lead a Playwright-based automation framework using TypeScript or C#, focusing on modernization and risk prioritization.
• Implement AI-assisted test engineering with multi-agent test case generation and automated quality judging.
• Architect automated validation for third-party API data ingestions and batch jobs.
• Integrate solutions into CI/CD on GitHub Actions and support Bitbucket-to-GitHub migration.
• Define QA metrics, entry/exit criteria, and ensure all metrics are measurable from tooling.
• Engage with clients by presenting at governance forums, contributing to business reviews, and mentoring engineers.

Requirements:

• 10 years in QA/test engineering, with 3 years in automation architecture for enterprise web applications.
• Expertise in Playwright and Selenium, strong knowledge of C#/.NET or TypeScript, and API testing across REST and SOAP.
• Experience with LLM/AI tooling, including prompt and agent design, and AI-assisted test generation.
• Fluency in CI/CD processes, particularly GitHub Actions, and SQL for data validation.
• Proven ability to design QA processes and metrics from scratch.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET or TypeScript.
• Practical experience with LLM/AI tools and methodologies.
• CI/CD expertise, particularly with GitHub Actions.
• SQL knowledge for data validation.
• Client-facing communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AWS Bedrock/OpenRouter or equivalent LLM platforms.
• Awareness of performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Knowledge of test data management and synthetic data generation.
• Exposure to the energy/utilities domain.
• Experience in managed services or testing-CoE engagements with SLAs.
