Description:
Core skill for A utomation architect (primary skill - Playwright/Typescript) :
  • Define and implement the overall test automation strategy across programs and projects.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Establish automation standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
  • Drive UI, API, and End-to-End (E2E) automation initiatives.
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
  • Build reusable automation libraries, utilities, and accelerators to improve productivity.
  • Enable cross-browser and cross-platform test automation.
  • Review automation code to ensure quality, maintainability, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
  • Identify automation opportunities and improve overall test coverage.
  • Define automation metrics, dashboards, and quality KPIs.
  • Lead automation effort estimation, proposal preparation, and solutioning activities.
  • Mentor automation engineers and conduct technical coaching sessions.
  • Drive Shift-Left Testing, Continuous Testing, and Quality Engineering practices

• Proficiency in Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, Hybrid, and BDD frameworks.
• Knowledge of REST API testing using tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.

• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence.
