• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Experience with components and processes including sheet metal, machined parts, plastics, rubber, and electro-mechanical components.
• Experience in uploading and managing 2D and 3D CAD data in SolidWorks PDM, including part check-in and release processes.
• Knowledge in PDM Vault
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in processing Engineering Change Orders as per standards.
• Working knowledge and application of ASME standards in design and drafting activities.
• Application of GD&T to drawings
• Knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Experience Required 5 to 8 years
Roles & Responsibilities • To work on projects through the complete lifecycle, including concept development, definition, design, and release to production.
• Design updates, including 3D model creation/modifications and 2D drawing updates and revisions.
• Demonstrate working knowledge and application of ASME and GD&T standards in design and drafting activities.
• New part number request for individual components and assemblies.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks based on inputs from the BCI Engineer and assign appropriate part numbers.
• Review and update drawings based on customer feedback and review comments.
• Manage 2D and 3D files in SolidWorks PDM for revision control.
• Develop and maintain project plans and timelines, and track project progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Implement recommendations from suppliers for Sheetmetal, machined, Plastics, Rubber, Electrical / Electro-mechanical components.
