Senior Controller (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for aSenior Controller (m/f/d) to strengthen our global team. In this role, you will act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, provide financial steering and performance insights, and help ensure consistent, high-quality controlling processes across the division.

What you’ll be doing:

• Support the Knauf Ceiling Solution Senior Management in the financial steering of the business, providing clear analysis of performance, risks and improvement opportunities

• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and reporting at global business level, ensuring consistent data structures, smooth processes and high-quality outputs

• Analyse business development and financial results, understand variances and value drivers, and derive actionable recommendations for leadership

• Define and maintain financial governance, controlling standards and internal guidelines across Knauf Ceiling Solutions

• Design and roll out improved data structures and reporting processes, taking ownership of overhead reporting and driving continuous improvement

• Act as a business partner for overhead controlling, preparing ad hoc analyses and management reports for senior stakeholders

• Organise measure management and impact tracking across division companies and functions, based on degree of maturity

• Support and drive division-wide projects related to profitability, cost management, working capital and strategic initiatives

What we’d love for you to have:

• A degree or diploma in business administration, economics or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience as a Controller in an international business environment, ideally across multiple companies and currencies

• Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet and operational value drivers within a manufacturing business

• Expert knowledge of SAP BW, especially COOM and COPA, alongside strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; Tableau experience would be an advantage

• Strong analytical skills, a pragmatic and results-oriented mindset, and the ability to think in business drivers and improvement levers

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to work effectively with a senior leadership team in a global division
