- Lead direct reports for assigned team with responsibilities for the daily operations and maintenance of attractions and aquatic facilities
- Provide performance management and guidance to direct reports, including company policies and procedures, attendance and reliability, performance standards and coaching
- Adhere to internal controls policies and procedures and operates according to the Operating Guidelines for Attractions and Recreation areas; responsible for reviewing LOGS for accuracy, identifying gaps and formulate corresponding recommendations to leadership
- Partner with the Recreation Service Excellence Trainer to assist with training as required
- Ensure Crew Members are adhering to established opening/closing checklist requirements and location operating guidelines; perform LOB audits
- Verify required checklists highlighting daily operational tasks and execution of safety requirements are complete and signed
- Complies with the safety competencies, and all company policies and procedures
- Ability to be the first responder or an on-scene commander during emergency situations ensuring safe practices are consistently executed
- Fill an Attraction or Recreation roles as needed
- Maintain inventory of all supplies needed for Attractions and Recreation operation, including pre-cruise inventory and ordering
- Create daily Crew schedules and assist with reviewing, recording and tracking all training requirements in system of record
- Provide assistance with Guest challenges
- Adhere to all Department budgets
- Be fully certified as a licensed lifeguard and participate and facilitate all training and operational audits, including in-service training, re-certification, Lifeguard New Hire training, as well as attractions training etc.
- Monitor radio communication with Attractions, Lifeguards, Attractions Coordinators, Lifeguard Coordinator, Manager, Attractions and Recreation and other areas. Communicate with the Bridge on the radio in emergency situations.
- Provide mentorship to all Attractions and Recreation Crew Member roles and assist with development activities as required
- Liaison with vendors and shipboard Engineering partners
- Understand and support all operational systems such as Outlook, Excel, Word, OARS, Fidelio and related systems
- Provides professional and social guidance to subordinates by exemplary personal behavior
- Emergency Duties as specified in the ship Assembly Stations and Emergency Functions Plan
- SMS - uphold the general safety management responsibilities in areas and operations under their control
