Combat System Technician III (6153)

GVI Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Combat System Technician III to join our Team inSan Diego, CA. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Supporttechnicianto conduct repair and failure analysis on AN/SQQ-89(V) SONAR equipment in Fleet Concentration Areas (FCAs). 
• Subject Matter Expert with all AN/SQQ-89(V) SONAR combat system equipment. 
• Familiar with all legacy SONAR and modern AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 SONAR equipment. 
• Analyzes failures and faults and provides corrective solutions required in order to implement equipment repair. 
• May perform additional tasks on an as-needed basis.

Requirements:

• US Citizen.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. 
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing AN/SQQ-89(V) SONAR system equipment.
• Possess a valid Comp TIA A+ certification, or be able to obtain the certification within 90 days.
