Weapon System Safety Analyst

We are seeking a Weapon System Safety Analyst to provide support for weapons safety analyses for munitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review test plans and results for munitions to ensure compliance with applicable standards and instructions
• Lead engagements with the Fuze & Initiator System Technical Review Panel (FISTRP) including development of data packages and presentation slides, development of cut sets, review of test plans and data, and engagement with the lithium battery certification team

Required Qualifications

• Must possess a Department of Defense Secret Clearance
• Bachelor degree in any field
• Five years’ experience in basic Safety Series/Insensitive Munitions testing
• Five years’ experience in JOTP-052 qualification testing – Fuze/Ignition Safety Device
• Five years’ experience in MIL-STD-1901A/1316F
• Five years’ experience in E3/EMV/Electrical Stress testing
• Five years’ experience in Certification of Lithium Ion batteries
• Five years’ experience in Successful FISTRP execution
