Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for anEngineer in Certification and airworthiness (f/m) to joinour Design and Repair certification departmentbased inToulouse, France.

You will be part of a teamproviding airworthiness approval to In-Service repair solutions. As part of theCertification team, you will be involved withCustomer Care Center matters to give the best repair solution to the customers for them to bring back their aircraft in an airworthy condition after an event.

Your challenges:

We are in close collaboration with all Airbus design offices worldwide.

We are working together with two other off-shore teams, in a follow the sun approach :

• one based in Mobile (USA)

• one based in Bangalore (India)

The work will be performed 7 days a week (monday to sunday) in shifts on day time hours by rotation.

Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

Provide Airworthiness approval of in-service repair solutions supported by the Repair and Design Approval Form (RDAF), and Flight Condition Documents (FCD). 

Interface with Airbus customer services, design offices, chief engineer teams and the other airworthiness departments. 

Act on request as airworthiness specialists in a multifunctional team to solve Aircraft on Ground situations (AOG).

This position is an opportunity to work for all Airbus civil programs, on all ATA chapters and develop multi-skills.

After the initial training period, the work will be performed seven days a week (Monday to Sunday) in shifts on daytime hours by rotation.

Your boarding pass:

You have an advanced level in English.

You are educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline.

You havestructure or systems skills.

You have a good general knowledge in aeronautics.

You have experience in the design office and/or in airworthiness. Knowledge in configuration management is a plus.

You are a real collaborative team player, reactive and curious.

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Vous ferez partie d’une équipe qui approuve les solutions de réparations proposées par le bureau d'études du Service Client, suite à un événement en service. Au sein del'équipe certification et navigabilité, vous aurez la responsabilité de vérifier et attester que la solution technique ainsi appliquée restaure la navigabilité de l’avion. Cette étape est indispensable pour la remise en service de l’avion.

Vos challenges:

Vous collaborez avec les différents bureaux d’études présents dans le monde.

De plus, vous travaillerez avec deux équipes présentes dans des fuseaux horaires différents pour assurer la continuité des opérations, appelé “Follow the Sun” :

• Mobile (USA)

• Bangalore (Inde)

Le travail s'effectuera en équipe sur 7 jours (du lundi au dimanche) en horaires de jour par rotation.

Vos principales activités et responsabilités seront les suivantes :

• Assurer l’approbation des solutions de réparations fournies à nos clients : Repair and Design Approval Form (RDAF), and Flight Condition Documents (FCD) en travaillant avec les différentes équipes du Bureau d'Études, du “Customer Care Centre” ainsi que les autres départements du bureau de navigabilité et de certification. 

• Intervenir, à la demande, lors de MFT (Multi-Function Teams) pour orienter les solutions de résolutions d’AOG (Aircraft On Ground)

Ce poste est une opportunité de travailler sur tous les programmes Airbus civils, sur tous les chapitres ATAs et de développer des compétences larges de la connaissance des avions et leurs opérations.

Vous ferez partie d’une équipe dynamique et engagée. Vous aurez l’occasion d’étendre votre réseau.

Votre carte d’embarquement:

• Vous avez obtenu un diplôme d’Ingénieur ou équivalent.

• Vous avez une bonne connaissance en aéronautique.

• Vous avez des compétences systèmes ou structure.

• Vous avez une expérience réussie dans le domaine du Bureau d’Etudes et/ou bureau de certification et de navigabilité. Des connaissances en gestion de configuration seront un atout supplémentaire.

• Vous avez un niveau négociation en anglais.

• Vous êtes curieux et aimez travailler en équipe.
