Summary:

The Senior Commissioning Manager will work as part of the STACK Data Centre Melbourne team and be responsible for the management of commissioning of mission critical equipment, start-up, and testing for projects in Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the execution of commissioning to meet STACK standards

• Manage projects and Cx teams in progress and for future projects as directed, including all commissioning related design, contractual and financial aspects in consultation with STACK management

• Look for opportunities to streamline the commissioning process without compromising on the quality required

• Creation of CxA RFP proposal documentation as instructed

• Participate in the procurement of CxA Consultants for projects including managing this process

• Management of STACK internal commissioning staff assigned to your project

• Overall management of CxA Consultants relating to specific projects under management

• Conduct design review process with Engineering team as needed

• Review all reports issued by CxA, including design reviews, Load-bank plans, IST intent, IST method statement, and IST interim and final reports

• Ensure safe work practices are followed by all participants on the commissioning team at the customer site

About you

• BS in a mechanical/electrical or engineering field or equivalent years' experience

• 2 years leadership responsible for commissioning execution by region or leading a Cx business with responsibility for financial performance of projects

• 3 years or more of experience in performing commissioning in a regulated industry, or facility engineering / facility management

• Experience in Data Centre Construction / Commissioning or Data Centre Operations

• Experience in use of Automated Commissioning Management System (ACxMS) systems for the management of commissioning

• Ability to read and interpret MEP designs and schematics

• Knowledge of mission critical design concepts

• Experience in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, and Project software

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

• Travel may be required (0-25%)
