About the role
Globalpundits is hiring an Associate Systems Engineer for a multi-year technology program with a client in the regulated energy sector. You'll help configure, maintain and support application infrastructure and integrations, troubleshoot application issues, and support deployments and upgrades.

What you'll do

• Configure and maintain application infrastructure and integrations under general supervision
• Monitor application health and respond to routine issues and support tickets
• Troubleshoot application problems using established procedures and escalate complex issues
• Support deployments, patches and upgrades by following runbooks and change processes
• Document configurations, procedures and issue resolutions
• Contribute to team deliverables as an individual team member

What we're looking for

• Up to 4 years of experience administering or supporting enterprise or plant-floor applications
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem solving
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux servers, databases and application environments
• Scripting or light development experience (for example PowerShell, Python, SQL or Bash) is a plus
• Clear written documentation and communication skills
