Associate Supply Chain Manager

Job description:

Responsibility:

• Responsible for inventory management of raw materials, components, and chemicals for finished goods
• made at contract manufacturers. Plans are in place to ensure sufficient finished goods inventory.
• Reviews material availability and lead times, inventory carrying costs, and customer demand when managing replenishment.
• Consults with other managers and key personnel in Sales & Marketing, Production, and Supply Chain to gather information necessary to develop and maintain supply.
• Maintain minimal to no backorders on all products released to market.
• Build and maintain inventory to levels agreed upon in management objectives.
• Perform analysis of materials and determine optimum safety stock.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or Associate's Degree in Sciences, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or applicable.
• Experience in supply chain, such as purchasing, supplier management, demand planning, and/or supply planning and
• 2+ years 2-5 years of work experience, or an equivalent combination of training,
• education, and experience, which demonstrate the ability to perform the duties
• of the position and the Ability to effectively interact cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D, Purchasing, Finance, Quality, etc.
• Experience dealing with suppliers and ability to multitask, prioritize work, and implement process and efficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• High degree of competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
• Familiarity with an ERP system and common software applications.
• Personal skills: Proven ability to effectively interact with multi-functional areas (Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, Quality, etc.).
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary activities.
