About the role
Globalpundits is hiring an Associate Software QA Engineer / SDET for a multi-year technology program with a client in the regulated energy sector. You'll help develop and execute test plans, test cases and quality assurance procedures for business applications. You'll find, document and track defects, and validate fixes before release.

What you'll do

• Execute test plans and test cases under general supervision
• Help develop test cases and QA procedures using established templates and methods
• Identify, document and track defects in a defect-tracking tool
• Retest and validate fixes before release
• Run and maintain existing automated test scripts where applicable
• Escalate complex defects or test gaps to senior QA staff

What we're looking for

• Up to 4 years of experience in manual and/or automated software QA testing
• Familiarity with defect-tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or similar
• Exposure to automated test frameworks or scripting (for example Selenium, Playwright or Python) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and clear written documentation
• Ability to work with developers, analysts and business users
