RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must comply with the specifications and work instructions.
- Work with the equipment necessary to perform the process (ovens, robot, pressure pot's).
- Notify supervisor / Engineering of numerical control programming problems.
- Clean parts, tools and fixtures, using solvents and towels.
- Perform changeover and cleaning of robot consumables at each coating color change (if required).
- Assist the engineering department in the preventive maintenance of the robot.
- Work with process sheets and color codes according to ERP system and specifications for each customer.
- Prepare coating to the proper consistency and viscosity according to formula instructions as needed.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas (Robot / Mix Room).
- Cover, tape, block specified surfaces of equipment (Robot), so that they are not coated.
- Visually inspect material masking for holes, uncoated spots.
- Touch up medical cables as required by engineering instructions.
- Provide support in assembly and disassembly of medical cables if required.
- Responsible to abide by and implement ISO 13485,14001 and 50001 Policies
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of experience in the medical industry.
- Completed Secondary Education (with commitment to complete secondary school) / completed secondary school required.
PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT:
- Safety glasses required in designated areas.
- Safety shoes.
- High temperature gloves, respirator for organic vapors, chemical gloves and aprons.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to manipulate or feel. Must be able to talk and hear. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. The employee is required to be able to walk, reach objects with hands and arms and occasionally sit, stoop, and squat. Requires frequent visual and mental attention to detail as well as manual coordination. Must be able to lift, periodically, 10-40 lb (4.5 - 18.1 kg) accessories.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:Employee must be able to read and interpret documents written in spanish. Employees must be able to have good communication with fellow employees, supervisors, and management.
