The Associate, Donor Relations plays a critical role in strengthening AIPAC’s relationships withcurrent supporters, increasing investment in AIPAC’s work, and delivering an exceptional donorexperience. This position combines relationship management, fundraising, and donor service ina fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
The Associate will engage and retain currentmembers,communicate the value and urgency ofsupporting a strong U.S.–Israel relationship,and encourage eligible donors to deepen theircommitment throughenhancedmembership and increased annual giving.

Key Responsibilities
- EngagewithexistingMemberstoreinforceboth the urgency andimpact of theirsupport.
- Solicit Club Members to increasetheirannual giving.
- Manage donor transactions andprovideservicesincluding processing gifts, handlingcredit card declines, setting up sustainer plans, and responding to donor inquiries.
Key Expectations
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual fundraising, donor-contact,and retention goals.
- Monitor the Club Membership phone line and call-center activity, ensuring donorinquiries and requests are addressed accurately, professionally, and promptly.
- Contact donors whose credit cards have declined, obtain updated payment information,and resolve billing issues with discretion and urgency.
- Follow up withmemberswho have outstanding balances to secure payment or discussconversion to an enhancedmembership.
- Monitor recurring giving and billing plans, proactively identify payment issues, andcollect updated credit card information frommembers.
- Communicate AIPAC’s mission, policy priorities, and impact through phone calls, Zoommeetings, email, text messages, and other donor outreach.
- Collaborate with Direct Marketing and Digital Fundraising teams to ensuremembersareappropriately engaged, retained, and strategically cultivated for upgrades.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely donor records in Salesforce and Outreach.io,including outreach activity, donor interactions, payment updates, and meetingdocumentation.
- Provide responsive, donor-centered service across inbound and outboundcommunications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- One or more years of experience in a customer-facing, relationship-management,fundraising, sales, customer-success, account-management, or similar role.
- Intense passion for a strong U.S.-Israel relationshipandknowledge of issues related toIsrael, the Middle East,and American politics.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability tobuild rapport with a broad range of donors.
- Strong customer-service orientation, sound judgment, professionalism, and discretionwhen handling donor questions, concerns, and financial information.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage a large portfolio,accurately document activity, and prioritize competing responsibilities.
- Comfortable working toward ambitious fundraising and activity goals in a fast-paced,metrics-driven environment.
- Resilient, goal-oriented, and comfortable navigating objections, rejection, and follow-upconversations.
- Self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to work both independently andcollaboratively across teams.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales-engagement platforms, including Salesforce andOutreach.io, or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Experience in politics, fundraising, call-center operations, high-volume phoneengagement, or a similar environment is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and relevantexperience.
AIPAC is offering a competitive market base salary between$57,000.00 and $65,000.00 for the position. A job offer within the range will depend on how closely a candidate’s skills and experience match the role’s requirements. AIPAC also offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that contributes to employees’ overall total compensation package. We currently work remotely two days a week and in our offices the other three. AIPAC is an equal-opportunity employer.
