Reporting to the Sr. Director, HCP Marketing, the Associate Director, HCP Marketing will be responsible for translating HCP brand strategy into high-impact launch execution to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption. This role will lead key HCP marketing workstreams, connect data and customer insight to strategic recommendations, refine messaging, and drive effective field activation and omnichannel execution.
This role requires strategic leadership, strong business ownership, and a hands-on approach to execution. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with deep HCP marketing experience and a demonstrated ability to independently lead launch planning, messaging, creative campaign development, tactical execution, agency management, and cross-functional initiatives. Mineralys is looking for individuals who thrive in an entrepreneurial setting, create structure in ambiguity, and are motivated to shape a brand from day one.
Previous launch and cardiovascular and/or chronic care experience is strongly preferred.
Principal Responsibilities
- Lead the development of promotional materials, sales resources, training content, meeting materials, and customer-facing programs that are strategically aligned, clinically appropriate, and compliant with applicable regulations and policies.
- Partner with Sales and Sales Training to define field needs, support field meetings and POA execution, and optimize the ongoing development and use of customer-facing resources.
- Lead HCP field activation workstreams, including field communications, resource inventory, sample strategy, and local congress and display activities, ensuring alignment with brand priorities and launch objectives.
- Own and manage assigned HCP marketing budgets, expenses, forecasts, and resource allocation, including samples, to maximize business impact and return on investment.
- Lead day-to-day agency relationships and provide clear strategic direction, ensuring strong project management, quality execution, and delivery of marketing initiatives on time and within budget.
- Lead key components of annual brand planning, launch planning, and tactical planning for the assigned product, including positioning, messaging, segmentation, targeting, channel strategy, and performance objectives.
- Lead and translate market research, advisory boards, congress planning, speaker programs, customer engagement initiatives, and other strategic projects into clear brand recommendations and actions.
- Serve as an HCP marketing subject matter expert and cross-functional partner, maintaining strong knowledge of the therapeutic area, healthcare environment, treatment landscape, customer segments, and evolving competitive dynamics.
Requirements
- A minimum Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA or advanced degree in related field is helpful.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience, including pharmaceutical and healthcare knowledge.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, with additional experience in Sales, Sales Training, Agency, or related fields valued.
- Strong marketing proficiency and demonstrated ability to independently lead complex projects and workstreams are required, along with strong verbal, written, executive communication, and presentation skills.
- A demonstrated ability to be innovative and proactive, influence across functions, operate effectively in a team environment, and lead multiple agencies, partners, and external stakeholders is required.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, including budget management, with the ability to translate market research, performance data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence into recommendations and action.
- Previous experience with chronic care products and/or a product launch is strongly preferred.

US Salary Range: $175,000 - $195,000
