The Farmer School of Business Associate Director for Industry Partnerships and Student Engagement is responsible for the execution of our corporate strategies and the active management of the Farmer School student organizations.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Farmer School Business Organization & Engagement: Host President's meetings, manage the EmpowerU program, conduct 1:1s with B-Org leaders to assist with the management of the organization.
- Cohort Management & Engagement: Manage the membership and engagement of co-curricular cohorts for Wealth Management and the development of new cohorts such as Consulting, Sales, and Human Capital.
- Class Projects: Source, capture, and coordinate client projects for StrategyWorks, FYIC, MA ECO, ESP, etc. Handle project agreements with General Counsel.
- Career Treks: Lead the planning, execution, and regional corporate site visits for Career Treks.
- Experiential Sourcing & Tracking: Centralize data on all experiential learning across FSB.
- Collaborate with the Farmer School Career Ecosystem: Engage various faculty, staff, students and corporate partners across the Farmer School to achieve our strategic vision.
Some travel is required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ work experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Relationship building
- Business Development
- Written and Oral Communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree
- Experience working in higher education
- Experience working in student affairs

This position is full-time and based on the Miami University, Oxford, Ohio campus. This position has been approved for remote hybrid work: four (4) days on campus, one (1) day remote. Remote work is not a right, it is a work arrangement that can be modified or revoked by Miami University at any time for any reason, including the convenience of the University.
