Associate Boomi Developer (Edifecs)
Location: Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid)
Type: Contract, through April 2027 (40 hrs/week)
Employment: W2 only. Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

About the Role
A large healthcare organization is seeking an Associate Boomi Developer to analyze, design, build, and support integrations that connect internal and external data sources. You will partner with business users, IT teams, and external partners to deliver stable production integrations in a fast-paced environment. While the role draws on Boomi and ESB experience, day-to-day development will be in Edifecs, which follows a similar design paradigm.

What You'll Do

• Own the integration development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation and post-go-live support
• Design and build integrations between on-premise and cloud applications, with a focus on healthcare transactions (X12, HL7)
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production integration issues
• Advise on architecture strategy and best practices, and collaborate with developers on efficient, stable solutions
• Document and analyze current business processes and underlying systems
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and outstanding issues
• Partner with technical peers, business users, and external partners on design and planning

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in technical design and coding in IT
• Strong hands-on experience with Boomi and ESB tools
• Willingness to learn and develop in Edifecs
• Completion of at least 2 to 3 full integration projects involving on-premise and cloud applications
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language, preferably Java
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services, XML, Groovy, XSLT or JAXB, Hibernate, and Spring Framework
• Experience working with flat files (CSV, fixed-width)
• Database experience with SQL and platforms such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Cassandra
• Functional experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics
• Solid understanding of the SDLC, unit testing, release procedures, documentation, and change management
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with X12 or HL7 transactions
• Experience with Edifecs
• Healthcare or financial services domain experience
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
• Proficiency with Visio or similar flowcharting tools
