About Us

Mizuho Bank Seoul Branch is one of Korea’s leading foreign banks, with over 50 years of history in the market and a team of 270+ employees. Based in the heart of the city at Seoul Finance Center, Seoul, we support our clients with deep local expertise backed by Mizuho’s global network.

Our department is responsible for market business and encompasses sales, trading and banking functions. We are seeking a salesperson to manage business activities for non-Japanese customers, with a primary focus on Korean companies. As a Japanese bank, our customer base consists mostly of Japanese companies, however, we have a clear objective to expand our business with non-Japanese clients in the future. In recent years, we have been placing greater emphasis on cross-broader and onshore/offshore business, and from this perspective, we regularly collaborate with other APAC treasury teams, including those in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute transactions and provide advisory services for foreign exchange and derivatives products to customers. 
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships by efficiently and professionally addressing customers inquiries and requests. 
  • Ensure effective risk management by strictly adhering to all relevant internal policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. 
  • Support various tasks and initiatives related to the Treasury/Sales teams and regional operations as required. 
  • Prepare and deliver regular client reports and presentations, and participate in client meetings and events, including occasional on-site engagements. 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Corporate FX / Derivatives Sales. 
  • CDIA (Certified Derivatives Investment Analyst) certification is required for this role. 
  • VBA skills are highly desirable. 
  • Strong analytical skills with a dynamic, result-driven, and sales-oriented mindset. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all deliverables. 
  • Motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively under pressure.
