Rogers-O'Brien Construction is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent with a focus on Healthcare projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience under the supervision of a seasoned superintendent, allowing you to learn and take on the various responsibilities involved in construction project management.

As an Assistant Superintendent, you will be part of a dynamic operations team that prides itself on delivering excellence and exceeding customer expectations. You will work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Proficient in developing comprehensive job plans to streamline project execution
• Strong organizational skills to manage construction schedules and coordinate subcontractor activities
• Effective communication skills for interfacing with project teams and stakeholders
• Problem-solving abilities to address project challenges and ensure quality outcomes
• Experience in healthcare construction, understanding its specific requirements and regulations
• Capability to implement safety programs, ensuring a secure working environment
• Familiarity with construction documentation and record keeping for compliance and reporting

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Superintendent and PM to develop and implement overall job conceptual plans and schedules, ensuring project milestones are met
• Coordinate with subcontractors to establish performance schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials
• Supervise field operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols
• Facilitate project meetings, including weekly schedule reviews, to align team efforts and address potential issues proactively
• Manage site logistics, including office staging, storage, and maintenance of a clean and organized jobsite
• Assist in the development and enforcement of quality control plans to maintain high standards of construction
• Support the project team in conducting pre-construction meetings to prepare subcontractors for project demands
