POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the production quality of jobs assigned. This position reviews, evaluates and corrects design files and performs layout, formatting, and editorial tasks.
Evaluates and edits projects to correct technical errors.
Performs scripture and source verification.
Manages workload so deadlines are met, consulting with Lead Editors or Director to prioritize appropriately.
Provides assistance to other editors as needed.
Tracks editorial time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma required.
- College degree preferred (English, Education or Graphic Design).
- Minimum one year publishing experience.
- Previous formatting experience preferred.
- PC Skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe).
- Editing.
- Graphic design.
- Customer service.
- General office skills.
