Role: Assistant E-commerce Manager – Wellness
Contract: Fixed Term
Shift pattern: Full-time

What you'll be doing
As the Assistant E-commerce Manager at Boots, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the online shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for the day-to-day trading performance of your assigned categories on boots.com, driving revenue, profit, and market share. Your insights and expertise will directly influence how customers engage with our products, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping journey.

Key responsibilities
  • Own the day-to-day trading performance of your categories across boots.com.
  • Use insights and category knowledge to improve conversion rates and support customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure robust support for your categories.
  • Ensure legal and safe online trading within your categories while meeting key KPIs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on development projects, capturing business requirements effectively.
  • Monitor and analyse trading performance, providing actionable insights to enhance results.
  • What you'll need to have (our must-haves)
  • Proven trading experience with strong financial acumen.
  • Ability to analyse and explain performance metrics effectively.
  • Understanding of online trading levers and performance marketing.
  • Confidence in using data and insights to shape strategic plans.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage effectively.

It would be great if you also have
  • Category knowledge relevant to the retail sector.
  • A willingness to challenge the status quo and take calculated risks.
  • Experience in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.
  • Familiarity with performance marketing strategies.
