What you'll be doing
As the Assistant Category Manager for Luxury Bath & Body at Boots, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product offerings and enhancing customer experiences. Collaborating closely with various teams, you will analyse customer data to inform sourcing strategies that align with our global vision. Your insights will help us stand out in the competitive health and beauty market, driving the success of renowned brands and also bringing new, exciting brands on board.
Key responsibilities
- Report directly to the Category Manager, working closely and cross-functionally with Merchandising, Supply, .Com, Marketing, Brand and other teams.
- Analyse customer data to recommend sourcing strategies that align with our global brand vision.
- Identify new opportunities to enhance our product offerings and differentiate Boots from competitors.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure the best products at competitive prices.
- Contribute to high-profile projects that shape our product range and customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product strategies.
What you'll need to have (our must-haves)
- Experience in sourcing, buying, or supplier management within FMCG or a related field.
- Strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.
- A collaborative spirit and a friendly personality that thrives in a team environment.
- A passion for health and beauty products and a desire to make a difference for our customers.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience in data analysis to support decision-making.
- A proactive approach to identifying market trends and opportunities.
- Familiarity with category management principles.
