What you'll be doing

As an Assistant Category Manager for Electrical Hair, you will play a pivotal role in managing a dynamic and fast-paced category. This position involves collaborating with a diverse range of suppliers, including premium brands like Dyson and GHD, as well as heritage brands such as Babyliss and Remington. Your contributions will directly impact category growth and help drive Boots further into the Beauty space through strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day category processes for Electrical Hair products.
• Collaborate with a varied supplier base to optimise product listings.
• Balance different ways of working across multiple brands.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance Boots' presence in the Beauty sector.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform category strategy.
• Ensure efficient workflow and adherence to operational processes.

What you'll need to have (our must-haves)

• Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong comfort with complex day-to-day processes.
• Experience juggling multiple ways of working across different supplier types.
• Confidence in managing relationships with both premium and heritage brands.

It would be great if you also have

• Experience in category management or a related field.
• Familiarity with the beauty and personal care sectors.
• Strong analytical skills to assess market trends.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
