Job Description
Position SummaryThe Asset Management Specialist I is a hybrid role combining traditional asset and project oversight with business systems analysis and operational modernization. This position is responsible for the systematic tracking and lifecycle management of projects and physical assets while leading the digital transformation of Facilities operations. The successful candidate will analyze business and technical processes to translate operational needs into technology solutions; specifically leveraging Tririga/EAM, Power BI, and AI to modernize workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and establish standardized, data-driven processes across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Systems & Digital Transformation
- Analyze current business and technical processes to translate operational needs into scalable technology and system solutions.
- Drive the implementation and optimization of Tririga/EAM, utilizing automation and AI to modernize Facilities operations.
- Develop and manage data workflows to ensure seamless integration between physical asset tracking and digital management systems.
- Utilize Power BI, SQL, and predictive analysis to transform raw asset data into actionable business intelligence for executive decision-making.
- Apply analytics technologies and programming queries to monitor asset health, predict replacement cycles, and optimize resource allocation.
- Establish KPIs to measure the success of modernization efforts and report on operational efficiency gains.
- Lead continuous-improvement initiatives to identify operational bottlenecks and design more efficient, consistent processes across multiple facilities.
- Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure uniformity in how assets are managed across various sites.
- Measure the impact of process changes and iteratively refine workflows to improve organizational agility.
- Coordinate and manage technical projects from planning through execution, including the oversight of resources, schedules, and budgets.
- Work aside cross-functional teams including Engineering, Maintenance, and Planning to implement technology improvements and system upgrades.
- Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the timely delivery of digitalization and automation initiatives.
- Maintain a comprehensive and accurate database of all facility assets, conducting regular physical audits and cycle counts.
- Manage the full asset lifecycle from procurement and commissioning to decommissioning and secure disposal.
- Ensure all asset management activities adhere to BAE Inc.’s policies and requirements.
Required Skills and Education
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 0–3 years of experience in asset management, business analysis, or operational project management.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong experience with Power BI and data visualization.
- Familiarity with SQL or other query languages.
- Experience with EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) software (Tririga experience is a significant plus).
- Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to identify a business problem and design a technical or process-driven solution to solve it.
Preferred Skills and Education
- Experience implementing AI or automation tools within an industrial or facilities environment.
- Knowledge of Project Management and Process Improvement.
- Prior experience working within a defense or aerospace manufacturing environment.
