Asset Management:
The Engineering and Asset Management department keeps our fleet safe, reliable and cost-effective. The team plans and manages vessel maintenance, shipyard repair and drydock projects, and major capital investments across the fleet. We work closely with operations, vessel crews and shipyards, and we use maintenance and cost data to decide how to maintain, repair and upgrade our vessels. The intern will analyze maintenance and repair cost history for a class of towboats to evaluate the lifecycle cost of propulsion equipment, then present findings and recommendations to senior management.

- Visit vessels to see how equipment is used day to day.
- Other special projects and tasks as assigned.
