Thisleadershiproleisresponsiblefortheadministration,support,andadvancementofclinicalandserviceprogramsacrossassigneddepartments,ensuringthedeliveryofexceptionalpatientcarewhilefosteringacultureofquality,safety,collaboration,andinnovation.

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and Vice President of Patient Care Services, the Director partners closely with physician and operational leaders to guide strategic planning, programdevelopment,operations,financialstewardship,andhumanresourcemanagement.Thisroleoffersanopportunitytoinfluenceorganizationaloutcomes,leadhigh-performingteams,anddriveinitiativesthatimprovepatientcareandoperationalexcellenceacrossthehealthsystem.

TheDirectorPatientCareServicesWill:

• Providestrategicandoperationalleadershipforassignedclinicalandservicedepartments,ensuringalignmentwithorganizationalgoalsandpriorities.
• Develop,implement,andevaluatepolicies,programs,andservicesthatsupportthedeliveryofsafe,high-qualitypatientcare.
• Directfiscalplanning,budgetdevelopment,resourceallocation,andfinancialperformancemanagementacrossassignedareas.
• Leadandsupportdepartmentleadersthroughcoaching,mentoring,performancemanagement,andprofessionaldevelopmentinitiatives.
• Fostercollaborativerelationshipsacrossdisciplinesanddepartmentstoimprovepatientoutcomes,operationaleffectiveness,andorganizationalperformance.
• Identify,lead,andmanageorganizationalchangeinitiatives,ensuringeffectivecommunication,engagement,andimplementation.
• Analyzeprogramperformancethroughoperational,clinical,financial,andpatientexperiencemetricsandimplementimprovementstrategiesasneeded.
• Developoperationalandstrategicgoals,actionplans,andlong-termgrowthinitiativesresponsivetohealthcareindustrytrendsandorganizationalpriorities.
• Partnerwithphysician,nursing,andoperationalleaderstoestablishandsustainclinicalprocessesthatadvancequality,safety,andpatientexperiencegoals.
• Ensurecompliancewithallregulatory,accreditation,patientsafety,andprofessionalpracticestandards.
• Leadtheplanningandimplementationofnewprograms,services,staffingmodels,andclinicaloperations.
• Promoteacultureofevidence-basedpractice,professionaldevelopment,innovation,andcontinuouslearningthroughouttheorganization.

RequiredSkills

• RegisteredNurse(RN)licensureintheCommonwealthofMassachusetts.
• AssociateDegreeinNursing(ADN)orBachelorofScienceinNursing(BSN)required.
• Master'sdegreerequired.
• Minimumof3-5yearsofleadershipexperienceinahealthcareorrelatedclinicalenvironment.
• Demonstratedexperienceinstrategicplanning,operationalleadership,humanresourcemanagement,andfinancialmanagement.
• Strongknowledgeofhealthcaredeliverysystems,healthcareregulations,accreditationstandards,andpatientcareoperations.

PreferredQualifications&Skills

• Master'sdegreeinNursing,HealthcareAdministration,BusinessAdministration,PublicHealth,orrelatedfield.
• Experienceleadingmultipledepartments,servicelines,orlarge-scaleclinicaloperationswithinanacutecareenvironment.
• Demonstratedsuccessimplementingquality,patientsafety,operationalimprovement,andworkforceengagementinitiatives.
• Strongcommunication,relationship-building,conflict-resolution,andchange-managementskills.
