What the Role Entails

Tencent Finance is seekingan experiencedSeniorTechnical Architect (Finance IT Systems) to define, govern, and evolve the architecture of enterprise finance platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring that finance IT systems arescalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.The Senior Technical Architect will work closely with Financestakeholders to design end-to-end technical solutions covering core finance platforms, integrations, data, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions forFinance IT systems (ERPsystems, billing, reporting, integrations,dataandsecurityetc)
• Providetechnical expertise and ensure the integrity of Finance IT systems and process functionality, including financials, procurement, budgeting and other related finance domains
• Translate complex business needs (e.g., accounting standards, tax regulations, compliance, risk management) into system requirements and drive technical solutions.
• Leadthetechnicalimplementationswithcross-functionaldevelopmentteamtoensurequalityandtimelyprojectdelivery
• Provide technical leadership and architecture guidance across delivery teams
• Support vendor evaluation, system selection, and solution implementation
• Drive modernisation and continuous improvement of finance platforms

Who We Look For

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 10+ years of IT experience, with5+ years in a solution or enterprise architect role
• Proficient in business-level English and Chinese Mandarin in order to work with a vast pool of internal stakeholders based out of China and various international markets, approx. 50% of communications are in Mandarin.
• Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Preferably proven records ofdesigning and deliveringsolutions for finance IT systems, ormainstream ERP system (Oracle,SAP, Workday Finance, Dynamics etc)
• Preferably understanding of financial industry regulations, data compliance, and information security standards.

TechnicalSkills

• Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, includingdata structures & algorithms,networking,operating systems, andconcurrency.
• Familiar with mainstreamJava backend frameworks (e.g.,Spring ecosystem such as Spring MVC / Spring Boot,MyBatis);strong understanding of underlying principles and best practices is a plus.
• Strong SQL skills; proficient with mainstream databases such asOracle andMySQL; experienced indata modeling anddatabase scaling design (sharding / partitioning).
• Hands-on experience withlarge-scale distributed systems andmicroservices architecture; strong understanding ofservice governance; practical experience withDubbo and/orSpring Cloud ispreferred.
