This full-time Senior Full Stack Engineer position is based in ourUltralytics office in Shenzhen, China, with a hybrid model of 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.

🚀 What you'll do

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Ultralytics, you will be a key player in designing, developing, and scaling the Ultralytics Platform — our end-to-end platform for AI model development. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and building robust, scalable backend services usingPython andFastAPI.

• Developing intuitive and responsive frontend applications withTypeScript andNuxt.js.

• Architecting and managing our infrastructure onGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP), leveragingDocker for containerization.

• Implementing and maintainingmicroservices to support features likecloud training and model deployment forUltralytics YOLO models.

• Driving ourCI/CD strategy usingGitHub Actions to ensure rapid and reliable delivery.

• Collaborating with ourAI research team to integrate the latestcomputer vision advancements into the platform.

• Upholding best practices in code quality, testing, and performance, and activelycontributing to our open-source ecosystem.

Your strategic vision and technical expertise will be essential in supportingUltralytics' mission of delivering top-tier machine learning tools and models to the community.

🧠 Skills and experience

• 5+ years of experience in full stack software engineering.

• Expertise inPython and experience with web frameworks likeFastAPI or Django.

• Proficiency in modern frontend development usingTypeScript and frameworks such asNuxt.js, Vue.js, or React.

• Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularlyGCP, and containerization technologies likeDocker.

• Proven experience designing and working withmicroservices and RESTful APIs.

• Hands-on experience withCI/CD pipelines, especiallyGitHub Actions.

• Familiarity with databases such asPostgreSQL and caching systems likeRedis.

• A genuine passion forAI andmachine learning; direct experience withMLOps ortraining models likeYOLO26 is a major plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
