What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and optimizefull-stack applications (backend and frontend) for high-traffic payment platforms, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Build high-performance, secure integrations with global Payment Service Providers (PSPs) using modern protocols and API standards.

• Develop responsive, intuitivefrontend experiences using modern JavaScript frameworks while building robustbackend services that power them.

• Create lightweight, well-documented APIs for seamless client, SDK, and cross-team communication.

• Ensure high quality of service (QoS) and maintain strong security standards across the entire stack.

• Tackle complex end-to-end problems with innovative solutions and foster a culture of openness, learning, and continuous improvement.

Mission and Goals

• Lead the technical design and hands-onfull-stack development of high-traffic payment applications — from database to UI.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering leaders, and Architects to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Own and drive complex technical designs of systems architecture and components built usingJava/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot on the backend andReact, Vue.js, or Angular on the frontend.

• Collaborate across engineering and product teams to build secure, performant systems that meet strict SLAs.

• Contribute to theentire application lifecycle — development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

• Champion systems architecture improvements and drive continuous modernization of existing services.

• Integrate with global PSPs, ensuring seamless payment flows across regions and providers.

What You Bring

Required (10+ Years of Experience)

• Strong hands-on experience inJava, Spring, Spring Boot for backend development.

• Proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework:React, Vue.js, or Angular, with solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience designing and building APIs across multiple architectural styles —REST, Webhooks, SOAP, GraphQL.

• Proficiency withSQL (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) andNoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB) databases.

• Experience with cloud platforms —Azure, AWS, or both — including deployment, scaling, and managed services.

• Strong ability to write unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites.

• SolidObject-Oriented Design skills and understanding of design patterns.

• Experience working inAgile/Scrum development methodology.

• Experience and desire to work in aglobal delivery environment across distributed teams and time zones.

Security Competencies

• Good understanding ofAPI Security Best Practices for building secure applications across frontend and backend.

• Working experience applyingstrong cryptographic algorithms and secure hashing techniques.

• Hands-on experience withSAST/DAST tools to identify, review, and remediate security vulnerabilities.

• Good understanding ofdata security standards (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR) and their application in payment systems.

•AI Proficiency & Tools:Familiarity with AI-powered development and automation tools such asN8N, LangChain, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms. Experience leveraging AI to accelerate development workflows, automate repetitive tasks, or build intelligent integrations is a strong plus.

• Exposure toAI/ML concepts and the ability to evaluate and integrate AI-driven capabilities into existing applications or workflows.

• Experience withcontainerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

• Experience withmessage brokers and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
