Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and support applications on the IBM AS400 (IBM i) platform.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions using Synon (CA 2E).
- Perform development activities using RPG III, RPG IV/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, and DB2/400.
- Design and modify database files, logical files, and physical files.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in application enhancement, testing, deployment, and support activities.
- Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Strong experience inAS400 / IBM i Series development.
- Hands-on experience withSynon (CA 2E).
- Good knowledge ofRPG III, RPG IV, RPGLE, CL/CLLE.
- Experience withDB2/400 database concepts.
- Knowledge ofQuery/400, SDA, DFU, SEU, PDM.
- Experience in application maintenance and production support.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience withSQLRPGLE.
- Knowledge ofIBM RDi (Rational Developer for i).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to modernization projects on AS400 applications.
- Banking, Insurance, Retail, or Manufacturing domain experience.
