Responsibilities:
• Responsible for providing production support and maintenance for AS400 (IBM iSeries) applications developed using COBOL. · The role involves monitoring production systems, incident management, problem resolution, batch job support, defect fixes, and coordination with business and technical teams to ensure high system availability and service reliability

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Provide L1/L2/L3 production support for AS400 applications. · Monitor and support batch jobs, job queues, and scheduled processes. · Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within SLA timelines. · Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring production issues. · Support COBOL, CLLE, RPG, and DB2-based applications. · Work on defect analysis, bug fixes, and emergency production changes. · Review and analyze application logs, spool files, and error messages. · Handle user queries and business support requests. · Coordinate with infrastructure, database, and application teams during outages. · Perform impact analysis and support release deployments. · Participate in on-call support and production maintenance activities. · Prepare incident reports, knowledge articles, and support documentation. · Ensure compliance with ITIL incident, problem, and change management processes.
