As anArtificial Intelligence Engineer, you will develop, productize, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions, with a primary focus on applications within theMedia space. You will work mainly inGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP), usingPython and modern software engineering practices to transform AI/ML concepts and models into robust, production-ready applications.

A key area of the role will be the development ofagentic AI solutions and scalable AI capabilities that support business opportunities such as media cost optimization, increased consumer reach, and improved digital advertising effectiveness.

You will collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, AI Engineers, and other cross-functional partners, combining AI/ML expertise with strong software engineering and cloud capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, productize, and deployAI/ML applications and solutions into production environments.
• Developagentic AI solutions and integrate AI capabilities into scalable business applications.
• Build applications and data solutions usingPython and SQL, sourcing and processing data from multiple systems.
• Partner with Data Scientists, Analysts, AI Engineers, and business teams to develop proofs of concept, experiments, and production-ready AI solutions.
• Operationalize Machine Learning models as integral components of IT solutions and business processes.
• Design data models, implement data quality checks, and optimize analytical solutions for scale and performance.
• Develop and support solutions primarily inGoogle Cloud Platform, leveraging technologies such as BigQuery, GKE, Composer, and Kubeflow.
• Apply strongsoftware engineering practices, including testing, code quality, maintainability, reusable design patterns, and source control.
• Work according toDevOps and CI/CD practices, leveraging tools such as GitHub Actions and Jira.
• Monitor and troubleshoot AI/ML applications and cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Develop proof of concepts and prototypes for new AI capabilities and recommend architecture and engineering improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Media and technology teams to improve media cost optimization, reach, and digital advertising effectiveness.

Job Qualifications

Top Qualifications / Must Have

• Python
  Strong programming skills and hands-on experience developing production-quality applications using Python.
• Agentic AI Development
  Experience developing or working withAI agents / agent-based AI solutions, including the integration of AI capabilities into applications.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  Hands-on experience developing and/or deploying solutions inGCP. Experience with technologies such as BigQuery, GKE, Composer, or Kubeflow is highly relevant.
• AI/ML Application Deployment
  Experience taking Machine Learning or AI solutions beyond experimentation anddeploying them into production.
• Software Engineering Best Practices
  Strong understanding of scalable application development, testing, version control, maintainability, reusable code, and production-ready engineering practices.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree inComputer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of professional experience working with Python and SQL and with the design, development, and deployment of Data, Analytics, AI, or ML solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex cloud environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills inEnglish.
• Ability to work ahybrid schedule in the Panama office.

Nice to Have

• Experience withGenerative AI, LLMs, or agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience withKubeflow or other ML orchestration and pipeline technologies.
• Knowledge of additional GCP services, includingBigQuery, GKE, and Composer.
• Experience withAzure technologies such as Azure ML, Databricks, AKS, or Azure Data Factory.
• Experience withCI/CD and DevOps methodologies, including GitHub Actions and Jira.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such asPyTest, mocking, and static code analysis tools such as SonarQube.
• Experience with source control and collaborative development usingGitHub.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts such asload balancing, autoscaling, authentication, and networking/firewalls.
• Experience withlogging, monitoring, and proactive incident detection for production applications.
• Experience building or supportingML pipelines and MLOps workflows.
• Experience withMedia, AdTech, digital advertising, or media optimization use cases.
