About the Jamestown Family Health Clinic

The Jamestown Family Health Clinic (JFHC) operates a nationally recognized model of care dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare. Owned and operated by the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe, JFHC is a Tribal Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving both Tribal citizens and non-Tribal community members. We provide care to over 18,000 patients with satisfaction scores that consistently exceed national benchmarks.

Rooted in the belief that community wellness is deeply connected to environmental health, JFHC offers a care experience built on relationships, collaboration, and long-term sustainability. As the largest family practice clinic on the Olympic Peninsula, we offer a team-based environment that supports both patients and providers alike.

This is a Per Diem position that offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment while providing flexible coverage based on clinic needs.

Your Role

We are seeking a Per Diem Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) with a strong clinical foundation to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-directed provider to deliver comprehensive, full-spectrum primary care in an outpatient setting.

You will manage a diverse patient panel, supported by a resourceful medical group that includes an in-house orthopedist, chronic pain specialist, clinical pharmacist, behavioral health team, and tele-psychiatry practitioners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide patient-centered medical care within scope of license, training, and credentialing.

  • Assess patient health through interviews, physical exams, medical history reviews, and diagnostic testing.

  • Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, EKGs, x-rays).

  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, including injuries and infections.

  • Administer injections, immunizations, and perform minor procedures (e.g., wound care, lesion removal).

  • Counsel patients on health promotion, disease prevention, family planning, and emotional well-being.

  • Ensure accurate, timely medical documentation and compliance with clinic policies.

Compensation: $880 per scheduled clinic workday

What Makes Us Different

We've built a professional environment designed to support clinical excellence and provider satisfaction:

  • Flexible Scheduling: Enjoy the flexibility of a per diem role with opportunities to provide coverage based on clinic needs and your availability.

  • Outpatient-Only Care: No hospital rounding or inpatient responsibilities.

  • Robust Support: High nursing and MA-to-provider ratios, on-site Epic EHR support.

  • Collaborative Team: Work closely with in-house and telehealth specialists for integrated care.

  • Professional Growth: Opportunities for continuing education, clinical development, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

  • Mission-Driven Care: Be part of a nationally recognized Tribal FQHC dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the community.

Experience Life in Sequim, WA

Nestled between the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Sequim, Washington offers an exceptional balance of professional fulfillment and outdoor adventure. Thanks to its unique position in the Olympic Rain Shadow, Sequim enjoys a mild, sunny climate and year-round recreational opportunities from hiking and biking to kayaking and fishing. Join a welcoming, close-knit community that values health, sustainability, and connection.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an Advanced Nurse Practitioner program recognized by Washington State.

  • Current unrestricted ARNP license in Washington State.

  • Certification by one of the following: AANPCB, ANCC, DNCB, NCC, PNCB, or ONCC.

  • Current DEA Certificate (without restriction) and BLS certification.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records (EMR).

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.

Join a nationally recognized Tribal FQHC where your work matters, your team supports you, and your career can thrive.
