SCOPE OF SERVICES:
TheJira Service Management & Confluence Data Center Administrator will provide remote administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization support for enterprise Atlassian Jira Service Management and Confluence Data Center platforms. The resource will manage workflows, permissions, integrations, automation, plugins, security configurations, and platform enhancements to support BOP service management operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Jira Service Management and Confluence Data Center environments, including configuration, user management, workflows, permissions, and security settings.
- Perform platform maintenance, upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Configure and support Jira workflows, issue types, screens, fields, queues, dashboards, and service desk processes.
- Manage and customize Atlassian Marketplace applications, including Deviniti, Appfire (JSU/JMWE), Adaptavist ScriptRunner, and Insight Asset Management.
- Develop and maintain Jira automation, Groovy scripts, custom workflows, REST API integrations, and process improvements.
- Support Confluence Data Center administration, including spaces, permissions, clustering, indexing, integrations, and content management.
- Configure and maintain authentication, SSO, LDAP/Active Directory integrations, and security controls.
- Develop reports, dashboards, documentation, and knowledge materials.
- Provide technical support, issue resolution, and user guidance for Jira and Confluence users.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered
- 5+ years of Atlassian Jira administration experience.
- Experience supporting Jira Service Management and Confluence Data Center environments.
- Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, permissions, automation, and enterprise configurations.
- Experience with ScriptRunner, Groovy scripting, REST APIs, JMWE, JSU, Deviniti plugins, and Insight Asset Management.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Atlassian environments.
- Ability to meet DOJ/BOP security clearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Atlassian Jira Administrator certification.
- Experience supporting government, federal, or regulated environments.
- ITIL/ITSM experience.
