United Infrastructure is seeking an experienced and proactiveĀ Reinstatement ManagerĀ to oversee and drive the quality of reinstatement works across our capital delivery projects.This role is critical in ensuring all reinstatement activities meet required standards, comply with regulations, and are delivered safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will work closely with delivery teams, highway authorities, and inspectors to maintain the highest levels of quality and compliance.Key Responsibilities
  • ConductĀ live quality auditsĀ of reinstatement works across active sites
  • Carry outĀ site safety auditsĀ to ensure adherence to HSEQ standards
  • CompleteĀ post-reinstatement inspectionsĀ to assess quality and identify defects
  • Monitor and reviewĀ Street Manager reports, identifying and escalating new defects
  • Ensure fullĀ compliance with quality standards, including NRSWA and SROH requirements
  • UndertakeĀ joint site walks with Highway Inspectors, addressing any concerns promptly
  • Manage and trackĀ outstanding defects, ensuring timely resolution and closure
  • Provide detailed reporting on reinstatement performance, risks, and trends
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to drive continuous improvement in reinstatement practices
  • Support pre-construction planning by identifying risks and advising on best practice
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in reinstatement, highways, or utilities environments
  • Strong working knowledge ofĀ NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act)Ā andĀ SROH (Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways)
  • Experience conducting quality and safety audits
  • Ability to interpret Street Manager data and manage defect workflows
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly when working with local authorities and highway inspectors
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Qualifications
  • NRSWA Supervisor accreditation (essential)
  • Relevant HSEQ or construction-related qualifications (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
