About the Position
We are looking for a highly motivatedQA /Validation Engineer to join our team working on aNext-GenerationAutomotiveOperating System andHypervisor platform. This role focuses ontest automation, system validation, andcontinuous integration pipelines, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and functionally safe automotive software solutions.You will work closely with cross-functional SCRUM teams, contributing to bothsoftwarevalidation frameworks and hardware-based testing environments.
  Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and executeautomated test suites for OS foundation layers and hypervisor components.
- Build and enhancescalable test frameworks to improve coverage, efficiency, and debugging capabilities.
- Develop and maintainCI/CD pipelines (Jenkins-based) for automated validation, regression, and nightly test execution.
- Set up and managehardwarevalidation environments, including board bring-up, flashing, logging, and remote execution.
- Collaborate with SCRUM teams (development, system, and safety) to ensure delivery ofhigh-quality, functionally safe software.
- Create and maintaintest specifications,validation plans, and user documentation for test tools and environments.
- Analyze failures from CI/CD runs, identify root causes, and drivedebugging and issue resolution.
- Supportlong-duration, stress, andreliability testing across multiple platforms.
- Contribute tocontinuous improvement ofQA processes, automation coverage, andtest infrastructure.
  Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inElectrical Engineering,ComputerEngineering,Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in test design and automation forembedded systems.
- Strong programming skills in:
- Python
- C/C++
- Bash scripting
- Hands-on experience with:
- Jenkinspipelines (CI/CD automation)
- Git-based version control workflows
- Experience working withhardware setups (board-level testing, logs, debugging tools).
- Solid understanding oftest automation frameworks and debugging methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in aglobal, cross-functional team environment.
- Strong ownership mindset with a focus onquality and customer impact.
  Preferred Qualifications
- Working Experience with one or moreoperating systems:
- Linux OS internals
- FreeRTOS
- SafeRTOS
- Experience withvirtualization technologies:
- KVM
- QEMU
- Experience withcontainerization andDevOps tools:
- Docker
- Jenkins
- GitLab CI
- Knowledge offunctional safety standards (ISO 26262).
- Experience withautomotive and networking protocols:
- Ethernet, TCP/IP
- CAN / LIN networks
- Exposure tostress andreliability tools (e.g., stress-ng) is a plus.
Compensation:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $143,200.00 - $186,000.00.Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
