We are looking for aexperienced Salesforce DevOps / Release Engineer to join a global EU project with one of Accenture's long-term clients.
In this role, you will be a key technical expert responsible for Salesforce deployments, release management and CI/CD processes, while also contributing to regular Salesforce application maintenance and support activities.
You will work closely with Salesforce developers, the client's DevOps team and other technical stakeholders to coordinate releases, manage deployment pipelines, troubleshoot deployment issues and continuously improve the release process.
This is a hands-on role for a senior professional who is comfortable taking ownership of the deployment process, working independently and acting as the go-to person for Salesforce releases and DevOps-related topics.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to role, location, effort, responsibility, skillset, and level of experience. We are hiring at the following management levels, and any offer will align with the gross base pay range according to the level at which you are assessed:
Team Lead:  EUR 1900 – 4700
Associate manager: EUR 2400 – 5600
Key responsibilities:
- Own and executeSalesforce deployments, releases and hotfixes across environments.
- ManageGitHub, GitHub Actions, Salesforce CLI (SF CLI / SFDX) and Metadata API-based CI/CD processes.
- Coordinate Pull Requests and release scope, troubleshoot deployment issues and work closely with developers and the client's DevOps team.
- Support regular Salesforce application maintenance and AMS activities between releases.
- Continuously improve deployment automation, release processes and CI/CD reliability.
- Act as thetechnical point of contact for Salesforce deployment and release topics.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, preferably in enterprise environments.
- Strong practical experience withSalesforce DevOps, release management and CI/CD.
- Proven ability to independently manageSalesforce deployments and releases.
- Strong knowledge ofGitHub, GitHub Actions, Salesforce CLI (SF CLI / SFDX) and Metadata API.
- Good understanding of Salesforce metadata, dependencies and deployment troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge ofSales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Experience working in anAgile / Scrum environment.
- Strong English communication skills and ability to collaborate with developers, DevOps teams and client stakeholders.
- Willingness to occasionally supportevening/weekend releases when required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications, particularlySalesforce Administrator, Platform Developer, Platform App Builder or DevOps-related certifications.
- Experience withInsurance Industry Cloud / Vlocity.
- Experience with SalesforceSalesforce CLI, SFDX, Metadata API and automated deployment frameworks beyond basic usage.
- Experience designing or improvingSalesforce CI/CD pipelines and deployment frameworks.
- Experience working directly with an enterprise client's DevOps team.
- Experience withSalesforce application maintenance / AMS in addition to release and deployment responsibilities.
- Experience withSales Cloud, Service Cloud and Insurance Industry Cloud.
- Experience coordinatinghotfixes, emergency releases and complex production deployments.
- Experience working in large, distributed Salesforce delivery teams.
- Experience in theinsurance or financial services industry.
