The Role

We are seeking a dedicatedQuality Technician Ito join our team in Kelso. In this role, you will provide critical functional support for assigned Quality and Supplier Quality processes, ensuring our goods and services consistently meet internal standards and customer requirements.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated candidate looking to take ownership of quality processes, support continuous improvement, and collaborate within a dynamic electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Final Quality Inspection: Carry out in-process inspections and final product verifications to ensure complete product and regulatory compliance.
• Shift Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Provide regular updates to the Focus Factory and Customer-Focused Teams regarding shift issues to drive ongoing quality improvements.
• Compliance & Quality Standards: Adhere to company quality policy, customer specifications, and regulatory standards. Monitor your own output, actively identify opportunities to reduce waste, and escalate issues when appropriate.

Education & Experience

• 1+ years of related experience preferred (an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience will be considered).

Technical & Professional Competencies

• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, workmanship standards, and technical judgment.
• Systems & Data: Intermediate computer skills, including data modeling, data manipulation, and navigation of quality record software.
• Problem Solving & Execution: Intermediate decision-making, operational knowledge, and execution skills.
• Communication & Collaboration: Basic verbal and written communication skills with strong customer focus and intermediate influence.

Working Environment & Physical Requirements

• Position operates in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment requiring standard personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Requires strong manual dexterity and fine motor skills for using precise measurement tools, delicate components, magnifiers, and vision systems.
• Work involves a combination of sitting, standing, repetitive computer tasks, and occasional lifting/moving of materials.
