Brown & Brown Insurance is looking for a sharp, highly organized Executive Assistant to support the Profit Center Leader at our Houston, TX office. The ideal candidate will provide top-levelassistance for high-level executives. They should be well-organizedand comfortable in scheduling meetings and responding to emails on the executive's behalf. Lastly, this individual should be able to draft documents and help the executive with any necessary meeting preparations.Â
How You Will Contribute:  Â
Serve as the primary point of contact between leadership, sales teams, customers, carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholdersÂ
Manage the executive's calendar, travel, meetings, and communicationsÂ
Create presentations, reports, and business correspondence with a high degree of autonomyÂ
Coordinate customer, sales, and internal events end to end —logistics, vendors, catering, travel, registrations, recognition programs, and employee engagementÂ
Track projects, milestones, licenses, certifications, expenses, and budgetsÂ
Prepare and analyze reports, expense documentation, and financial records with strict accuracy and confidentialityÂ
Manage office hospitality and employee appreciation initiativesÂ
Independently juggle competing priorities and special projects, exercising sound judgment throughoutÂ

Skills & Experience to be Successful: Â
3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant preferredÂ
A basic understanding of insurance and business terminology is a plusÂ
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)Â
AMS360 experience, or the ability to pick up new software quicklyÂ
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and telephone skillsÂ
Ahigh level of discretion and a professional, courteous demeanorÂ
