Help reinvent how housing gets designed, permitted, and built in America.
Cedar is building the operating system for urban housing delivery. We combine architectural expertise with software, AI-driven automation, and data systems to dramatically accelerate how projects move from land acquisition to approved designs and construction. The result: faster timelines, higher quality, lower risk, and more housing in the cities that need it most.
Our team blends architects, engineers, and product builders. We design real buildings — and we build the software and AI systems that make great architecture scalable.
The Role
The Architectural Designer is primarily responsible for the development and documentation of Cedar projects. They will be a key contributor to delivering exceptional outcomes for Cedar’s customers by using Cedar’s streamlined design processes. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your creativity at a technology startup committed to solving real-world problems. You’ll continue to learn and develop your architectural design skills while getting the opportunity to absorb experiences across cross-functional roles. If you’re passionate about design and interested in taking on the challenge of resolving the American housing crisis, this might be the role for you.
The title will be “Architect” if applicant is a licensed architect in the state of Texas.
